Well, so there goes one saturday. again. in 2 hours i can say I've spent the last 24hrs sleeping or skating. And I'm bushed. Like shrubbery.

Soo..a random topic I chanced upon while talking to my friends just now. How honest are people these days? People often lie to try to avoid dissappointment, to avoid conflict and hurt. But I think being honest makes things hurt alot less.I mean look at it this way. If lets say I lied to you to avoid hurting you, or arguing with you, sure, its a short term comfort. But what will you do when you find out? Now not only are you angry, you've lost your sense of trust. *gasp* How horrid. Haha. So speak the truth. it helps. and as long as you have a reason, that you're clear. Really. Really really. Unless you dont know the fella la. then it's alright. Haha

And I have two assignemnts due within the next 4 days, and I havent started on either one.

And blogs are like dairies. dairies of ones life and thoughts. And I hate diaries. Nooooooo.

P.s. Despite my attempts to force my music upon you with my music player's autoplay function, It isnt well received. So I shall change the songs, and if you'd like, you'll have click play to hear it.

Blot Dot

So. I feel sick. I think I shouldn't try to eat and skate ever again. It's like my stomach is a vacuum, and my floor is going to need a cleaner.Getit? Vacuum cleaner? har har.

Anyway, I was writing an article that time for sportsjourn, where I talked about the lack of sports culture in Singapore. And today I went for the Asian Youth Games opening, and I have come to a conclusive conclusion of concluding decisions. That it is true.

I understand Singapore has a small talent pool. And as of late they have been trying to launch that whole let's play campaign. Which is nice. But its a little too late. I think most people have forgotten that sports, or the whole objective of sports, isnt just winning, like how you try to score the highest and all that. But to actually enjoy yourself. Singapore set a target of five medals for this Ayg meet. But how about setting a taget of "hey, lets all have fun, try your best. if it doesnt work.its alright". I think that way they'd win.

In other news, this whole week has been a blur. A whirling blur. I feel like a kangaroo in headlights. Haha. but its a rather nice kind of blur. But still a blur. see? I'm making you blur talking about me being blur. haha.

You should learn to skateboard.
It is cheap and fun.
It is something you can do when you are alone
or with friends.

Once you learn, you can hang out late at night in parking lots for hours and hours
(and you don't even have to be high).
Also you can talk to others about skateboarding
and it will make them think you are cool
and they will give you things
like free stickers or invitations to parties
with lots of guys at them

If you get good
you can jump over all sorts of things
like cars, and european streets, and statues, and off small buildings.
and people will take pictures of you
which is nice (For later, to show your kids).

If you get really good,
maybe someone will pay you
to take pictures, and make videos of you jumping off all sorts of crap
and they will put you on billboards
and benches where homeless people sleep
and you name will be on thousands of pairs of shoes.
maybe you will have a video game with you in it
or a TV show where you shoot your friends with weapons

Or maybe not.

Maybe you will just keep doing it and no one will really care how good you are
and you will just use your skateboard to ride down the street
to buy some beer
when your "old lady" takes off with the car

It's up to you I guess
Like anything else

But you should definitely learn.
It will be worth it
in the long run

I Promise

Hoo

So while skating home after 4 hrs of skating(duh), walking was like a prehistoric verb. Then, I overtook two Jc boys and took to the road on my board, and went flying(presumably because of a curb) annnd I landed right in the middle of the road. Haha. I think everyone had a minor heart attack.

And I think I sandpapered all the skin off my palms from carrying my board so much. It's sweaty palms festival all day long. Flargunaut.
