I dont really have much to ramble about today.Its been so humid as of late, the term "tropical island" doesnt seem to fit it anymore.Its more like "Hell on earth". Where are you, oh great snow troll.Anyway, I'm still a tad high from yesterday, and my legs are still sour.Glee.again. HAHA.

This weekend has been really funny. like not comics book funny, but "OMG I'm GOING TO DIE!" funny. Advertising is kinda due next week, and we havent found the adverts.So i'm kinda going "Fuzz ball".But I'm sure the group will get it.My tv prod script is 3 days past the day I'm suppose to do it, cause I've gotten the Procrastinate disease. And lastly, I just had a donut. Now how funny is that.

Anyway, School hours look pretty hopeful next week, which is good, since i'm feeling very weird.

An Ocean In Your Bedroom

I'm Bushed.not the american sort of way.more like the tired to a point of "Someone run me into a wall so I can sleep" sort of way.

Anyway. I've come to realised over my second dinner today that second dinners are like second shots at life. I dont know about most people nowadays, but at night, my stomach goes into high gear and I need two to three dinners to kill the hunger pangs.Now second chances in life is a very broad term, but what I mean is like when you ladies go cut you hair when you break up, or when the kid who doesnt study manages to pass the crucial exam after last min cramming, or things like that.even up to those fall of nine storeys and survive sort.I mean, when I have my first dinner, its a rush rush thing. chomp chomp cho..gone..like life, sometimes we just speeed thru it, wanting to reach this point or that point, and just missing everything else on the way. Then my second dinner is when I'm full enough to not be hungry, and I actually eat beef+veg+rice to savour the taste, not just eat veg and rice and leave all the beef for spam gobbling like during my first dinner.Life's like that too no? after you hit a snag, and just hit a wall before having to continue, it lets you stop to "digest" all you've been thru, and you kinda appreciate what you have had enough to learn to appreciate them more during the so called " second dinner" no? too abstract? HAHA

So my fever has pretty much regressed to this minute worm of a headache, and I'm starting to get use to the constant drone in my head. I also have been diligently resting at home which means no skateboarding, which also means, i'm dying.Plus, I dont know why, or perhaps the fever burned an entire section of my brain up, but i've been very very absent minded these past 3 days. like tripping over thin air absent minded.

Anyway, I wish to ramble on something, but something doesnt come to mind.what comes to mind however, is that Stereophonics is the newest thing I've found cause I saw their promo poster for their performance around the place.Now I know I'm slow in the music scene, but they are gooooooood.Like alternative rock, lounge music and band members who ooze suave-ness sort of good.Now I'm not gay, and the lead singer has this insanely irritating gap between his front teeth, but the sound of their music and the image of their band, makes them one of my top 5's this week.If you wanna check their music out, go Deezer, they have all their albums, or most at least.

Well look at that, I said I wont ramble, but I gave a music review, well partly at least.

Rise With The Fallen™

So after 2 weeks of coughing, sneezing and popping panadols to keep that beast down, I have succumbed.

Went to town to board yesterday and met these nice people, who helped me get my ollie right and taught me quite a few new tricks. Of course today being a good day, I should be out working on them, but after the session ytd, I had to go to the doc and he said I needed plenty of rest, and the fact i cant stand doesnt really help. So here I am, stuck at home watching skate vids, not wanting to start my schoolwork and feeling like I got iron limbs and a hammer doing work to my head.

Today, I finally met my whole class.whole NEW class. And I like the current composition of it. Which is good. Nice people.

Anyway,today, for the first time in a long time, some rambling is in order.todays topic shall be.........Ethics, or values or whatever you kids call it nowadays(I call you kids cause I'm nearly 2 decades old, I'm ENTITLED)Anyway, ethics these days have been very dissolved, and backbone is rare to come by(metaphorically).In the past, People would rather lose limbs or their lives to stick by their values.or maybe in a not so drastic enviroment, people refused large sums of money to stick to their belief.Case in point, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. My favorite song from all their albums is titled "under the bridge" and when they first released it, Macdonalds offered them 2 million quid to buy the rights so they may use it in their add. RHCP said no, cause they didnt wanna be associated with Macs.Now imagine the psychological trauma that would plague me for my life if they did accept the 2 mill.See what i mean? but now, any young twit would sell his neighbour and 9 generations of their family for a couple of bucks. And conformity would make people sell their souls to fit in. Now after all this, dont you just wish the sky rained godzilla toads and ate us all up.


In my other section,I would like to thank Sam for her bad habit of being online everytime her laptop is on. Cause this means I got someone to bug when in class( And if any lecturer is reading this, Online is the new age term for study, and bug is the new age term for ask important study related questions, so no worries) :D

At this point in time, I dont know whether to laugh or to cry. Laugh cause the day is over, or cry that it ever began.

Ok, I'll go positive first.There is no positive.
It was lecture day, the day we all coop in the lecture hall and slowly die from curriculum enforced lesson and I .. was.. dying throughout. maybe the first 5 hours was bearable, in between being stingy about my laptop battery usage and freezing my nuts off, I still managed to pull through without nodding. Then came Media research management. My battery died, My nuts were well.. *insert Ice cube image* and my brain was mash potato. and to top it all off, in between taking notes and trying to doodle to stay awake but feeling to lazy too, I managed to not get ANYTHING in. 2 hours and all I can remember is the teachers name. School, Bane of my life.

I would ramble, but I got laundry to wash and a laptop to charge so I must bid thee Adieu.

Apple Carts And Chocolate Milk

Skating this past two weeks have been as much of a chore as it is a joy. the illness halves everything I have, from stamina to willpower. No wonder there arent any zombie skateboarders.

as I said in my post at 3 last night, the chinese movie industry cant make trailers if their life depended on it. Now there is this show, Three kingdoms, and most probably would have seen the local version of the trailer. Its ok, doesnt invoke any "I want to watch it!" feeling or anything for that matter. Yesterday , i went to their site and saw the international trailer.*cringe* I've watched three kingdoms, and I personally rank it with Lord of The Rings, maybe even better in certain aspects, but the trailer just kills it.so so sad.

School starts tmr. joy.

So Danny And I spent 10 bucks competing on the Ferrari racing game in the arcade yesterday, and after 10 games, the score was 9 - 1. I was the one with 1. but it was fun, and he is good, like really good.

Today I was looking through old photos and when I mean old I mean not digitally based ones( yes technological people, there was a time before digital pictures). and while going thru them, you start to appreciate it. I mean, aside from the fact that those poor people in the photo developing business may have seen sales drop, shouldn't we be thankful for hard copies, where no virus or system recovery can reach it? of course for people like me who find it hard to recall faces, it is a double bonus, no? There is no point to this ramble, nor reason, but perhaps once in awhile its good to dig up old photos, to see how times have changed.

Anyway, internet explorer is not working, curse them a fool, and now i'm using firefox, thus the picture of the day(as it now finally makes sense!). And Daniel beat me at 3 games of tissue paper checkers yesterday. I will have my revenge. Blogs getting a tad dry, suggestions anyone?

Well Holy Moley, one day short of a week since I blogged.

RP started school ytd*Grins at their misfortune* Anyway, I've been sick, like zombie sick the past week, what a great way to spend the last week of the hols.School's looming around the corner like a big fat concrete block, and the weather is as chirpy as the grinch.Speaking of grinches, now correct me if I'm wrong, and perhaps I watch a notch too many movies, but humour me. First it hails here, then there is a shortage of rice, and then America is going to the polls for a black president. If all this doesnt point to something big, then what does? I'm hoping that something big is smelly, hungry, and loves to chew on blocks with NGEE as the beginning of the blocks lettering. Then we'll get another 2 mths break.:D AH well wishful thing.

Ok.I once swore not to play online games cause its where only people with nothing better to do do. Now maybe I said that cause I was using dial up. sour grapes and all.But still. for the past few days I have been neglecting skating for that INFERNAL Cabal. i've clocked in at least 18 hours in the last 4 days..GAHH..the guiltiness killss..

Anyway. i did notice stuff while playing tho, like where the missing teen population has gone, how the star of david is overused and inserted into almost everything nowadays and how when you start to lose an argument, you drag the other parties parents,grandparents and 9 generations before that into the picture justtt to win. despicable people.
Back in my school, you start with the parents, you DIE! but heyy..during that time, playing computer was pretty new to us. Anyway, speaking about computers, mine hasnt been turned on since school ended. I better go check if she is still turn on-able. And Daniel is playing some very old jade empire game, that relic(the game and the person)

OH! And I got into the same class as Daniel and Melodie for Spanish and Daniel for literary baloney. I guess friday is the day to look forward to for all the more reasons now.

Anyway, I wanna talk abit about Guitar playing. 8 years ago, only the people with interests in music or were gifted played it, now tom, dick and jeremy all have guitars..FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS! to be in a band, to be cool, to carry the bloody case around town so you can floor me.. I mean, I know only a handful of people who play it like they care. Td, Eugene, Nick, they all play cause they want too, and not to carry the case around town.Trust me, I've seen Td's case. I do NOT wanna be caught dead carrying that work of art around town.:P end point is, perhaps its generalisation ,perhaps its not. But playing an instrument is like skateboarding. you should do it cause you love it, cause it isnt meant to be cool.
